The stains on clothing sores can be very difficult to remove, especially when the lipstick has been well marked, and this was long-lasting. There are several methods that we can use to clean them and leave the garment as new, and one of the first that you should try is to apply a little liquid soap mixed with water.

First, we recommend drying the lipstick stain with the absorbent paper if it is too recent to remove excess color. Next, dampen the stain lightly with a little guide and apply a drop of liquid soap that offers anti-grease properties to remove the lipstick completely. Let the soap act on the fabric for 10 minutes and, after this time, rinse with a little water, and you can wash the garment as you usually do.

If the above method doesn’t work, you can also use liquid glycerin to try to remove lip stains from that item of clothing. It is a thick and viscous liquid that you can buy at any pharmacy, and that typically gives good results. You have to mix three parts of water with one of glycerin and apply a little of this solution on the lip stain, rubbing gently with the help of a soft-bristled toothbrush. Once you see that the stain begins to disappear, you can now perform a regular wash.

There is another quite popular homemade trick, which is useful when we need solutions to remove difficult stains from the tissues, which is to use a cream made from aspirin and water. To make it, you have to crush three aspirins and mix the powder obtained with a little guide. Then apply the resulting paste to the lipstick stain with a soft brush or sponge and let sit for 30 minutes. After this time, wash the garment as usual and check that the lipstick has completely disappeared.

Lastly, one of the most effective ways to quickly get rid of lipstick stains from clothing is to use a little ethyl alcohol. The procedure is very simple; you just have to moisten a cotton disk with a few drops of alcohol and rub gently on the stain so that it fades away. Finish by placing the garment in the washing machine and washing it following the instructions specified on the label. This will ensure that it is not damaged and comes out in the perfect condition. The patches of sores are not only common in the clothes, and they can also occur on other surfaces, such as bedding or, even worse, fabric upholstery. In this case, we recommend that you try the following remedy: mix equal parts ammonia and water in a spray bottle, spray the solution on the stained fabric, let it work for about 2 minutes and, with a soft and clean towel, Lightly dry the stain. Repeat once more if you consider it necessary.

Second steps: How to remove lip stains from clothes

You look in the mirror and think: “I put on my lips, and I will be ready to go out,” but when you go to hold the lipstick, it falls with the open end on your blouse and stains it. Damn it, what now? Easy, look for an aspirin, but not to take it! but to remove the stain.

Two aspirins and a little water are the only ingredients you need to remove lip stains from clothing. Do you want to know how to apply this homemade trick? Follow the second steps:

Eliminate excess lipstick.

Before applying cleaning solutions to the fabric, use a blunt knife or the edge of a credit card to gently scrape off any excess lipstick. This will prevent the stain from spreading and is especially helpful if a large piece of lipstick has broken on your clothing.

Drench with alcohol.

Dampen a clean cloth or cotton petal with highly resistant isopropyl alcohol. Gently apply to the stain (do not rub) and then rinse thoroughly with cold water. If you are working on a very delicate or dyed fabric, be sure to try this method first in a less visible part of the garment.

Use a stain remover.

If the stain persists, try a stain remover. Stains deeply embedded in the fabric may respond better to chemical-based stain removers (rather than eco-friendly ones that tend to be milder). Whatever you choose, be sure to check the care tag first.

Wash with liquid detergent.

Taking care not to spread the stain, immerse the garment in warm water and gently massage with a small amount of detergent. Avoid hot water as this can cause the stain to seep into the surrounding area. Do not machine wash until the stain has been visibly removed.

Try hairspray.

Spray hairspray directly on the stain and allow it to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Dip a clean cloth in warm water, gently pat the stain dry, and remove the lacquer and lip stain. If this doesn’t work, it is best to seek help from a professional dry cleaner.

NOTE:  The first thing people tend to do when they notice the lipstick stain on clothing is to rub it off to remove it immediately, which is not only not recommended, but it will adhere much more lipstick inside the fabric, and much worse if done dry; If you have an accident on the street, it would be best if you had the patience (anyone would understand the accident) and wait until you get home to be able to do it well … and if you have a lot of urgencies, just try (going to the bathroom and taking off your shirt) fade it with a little water (COLD not hot) with gas preferably.

After 30 minutes you can wash the clothes and put them to dry. The stain will have disappeared with the wash.
